Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Torlyx ("Torlyx", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Torlyx on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use Torlyx.

Torlyx provides website security, SEO and AI-visibility scanning, pre-deploy readiness checks, continuous monitoring, a managed web application firewall (through your own connected provider), an optional read-only host agent, and related tools. Features vary by plan. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the product.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Torlyx. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for all activity under your account. Enable available security features, and notify us promptly at hello@torlyx.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

You may use Torlyx only for lawful purposes and only on sites, endpoints, repositories and hosts you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Authorization is your responsibility. In particular, you must not:

• Scan, probe, test or attack any site or system without authorization.
• Use the service to disrupt, overload, gain unauthorized access to, or harm any third party.
• Attempt to bypass plan limits, resell or sublicense access, or reverse engineer the service.
• Upload unlawful content, infringe others' rights, or use the service to violate any law.

You are solely responsible for any target you submit and for any consequences of testing you are not authorized to perform. We may suspend scans or accounts we reasonably believe are unauthorized or abusive.

You retain ownership of the sites, code, content and data you connect or submit. You grant Torlyx the limited license needed to operate the service for you — to run scans, generate findings and reports, monitor your sites, and provide support.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights and authorizations necessary to grant Torlyx access to every source you connect.

Torlyx integrates with third-party services you choose to connect — for example Cloudflare for the managed WAF, GitHub for pre-deploy checks, and our payment processor for billing. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for maintaining your accounts with them. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

Free features are provided at no charge. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly unless stated otherwise) and renew automatically until cancelled. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; changes take effect according to your billing cycle.

Prices may change with notice for future billing periods. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and cancellation stops future charges without refunding the current period.

Torlyx Rescue and similar hands-on services are one-off engagements quoted up front and started on payment. We will use reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee a specific outcome, timeline, or that any particular vulnerability can be fully eliminated. The scope of each engagement is what is described in its quote.

Torlyx helps you find and reduce risk, but no security tool can guarantee that a site is free of every vulnerability or that an attack will always be prevented. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You remain responsible for your own security decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Torlyx and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold Torlyx harmless from claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms or any law, or any scanning or testing you were not authorized to perform.

You may stop using Torlyx and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, use the service unlawfully, or create risk or harm for others or for Torlyx. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, liability and indemnity) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Torlyx's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us at hello@torlyx.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of Torlyx after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
